Look Out Hillary…

Ron PaulFor those that may not have noticed, I’m rooting for Ron Paul in the 2008 elections. It’s time we get the caliber of leadership that Dr. Ron Paul represents. I received some good news today…fantastic news, actually…Ron Paul seems to be getting an underestimated amount of support. He’s moved from underdog to one of the more popular candidates, just since his well spoken GOP debate on March 3rd. This is particularly amazing considering that the major news media has pretty much blacked-out Paul’s campaign and what little time has been spent does little justice. Per his regular emails, here are some things that he has to say about the success of his campaign:

Since the debate on May 3, Ron Paul:

1. Handily won two post-debate polls posted by event sponsor MSNBC.

2. Placed a close third (18%) in a post-debate poll on the conservative Drudge Report.

3. Won an ABCNews.com online debate poll with 84%.

4. Won a C-SPAN online GOP candidate poll with 69%.

5. Became the third most-mentioned person in the blogosphere, beating out Paris Hilton, according to the reputable Technorati.com.

6. Produced a YouTube.com video that was ranked the 8th most popular overall video, and the most-viewed political video.

7. Was featured, by popular demand, on the front of Digg.com.

8. Generated so many bulletin posts on MySpace.com that the site owner News Corp. blocked all additional posts about Dr. Paul.

9. Became a “most searched” term on Google and Yahoo!.

10. Saw a quadrupling of daily visitors to RonPaul2008.com.

.

Update:

Found this article that Yahoo is censoring their polls by not including Dr. Ron Paul. Just another shining example of how our media is complicit in public manipulation.

Of course, this reminds me…they’re talking about excluding Dr. Paul from future debates…so I guess I shouldn’t get too worked up about it. If they do that…you are going to see one scathing rant…so I better save my energy, just in case.
